LNSC Club News LNSC Introduces Micro Soccer for Ages 4 & 5 Lake Norman Soccer provides weekly skills training for youth who want to learn the 'Beautiful Game' or advance their soccer skills. Micro Soccer is a once a week session over 8 weeks designed and led by our professional staff to introduce soccer to youth ages 4 and 5. Training sessions begin last week in March. For more about Micro Soccer Pre-Academy for Ages 6, 7 & 8 Pre-Academy is also an excellent introduction to soccer for youth for ages 6 to 9. Sessions begin Wednesday, March 10th at Staesville Soccer Complex. Prorated fees available for those joining after training begins. For more about Pre-Academy or Call Godwin at 704-799-0800. Spring Break Camp Begins Tuesday, April 6th. The three day Spring Break Camp will be held from 9 AM to Noon on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at the Mooresville High Stadium Field at 160 Magnolia Avenue This camp proved to be a fun event last year for youth ages 6 to 15. Milton Valerio Joins LNSC Staff Milton was born in the Dominican Republic and recently retired from teaching High School Spanish in NY after 30 years. Milton has refereed and coached soccer at the High School and Club level in addition to serving as an assistant coach at Lemonye and Suny Oswego Colleges. During his career with the East Syracuse Minoa Girls’ Varsity his teams won 7 Sectional titles, 14 League titles and 1 State runner-up to become the ‘winningest’ coach in Section III with over 400 league games. His Syracuse Blitz Club team won several NY State Cups and one Region I Championship. Currently Milton holds his Regional and National NSCAA Diploma. Milton also received the “Believe to Achieve” award from Syracuse Sports Corporation & Greater Syracuse Chamber of Commerce in the Fall of 2007. He is also a member of the Latin American Soccer Coaches Association and the United States Soccer Referees Association. Please help us to welcome Coach V!
